South Carolina Stream — Regional Deployment Partner
Translating quantum theory into industrial impact. We are deploying real-world solutions at scale across South Carolina’s premier research institutions and industry clusters.
Quantum in South Carolina
South Carolina serves as the dedicated regional anchor for the Global Quantum Applications Challenge, highlighting applied work underway across the state’s research universities and partners.
This stream features three high-impact deployment programs anchored at Clemson University and the University of South Carolina, spanning quantum implementation, applied research, and embedded technical expertise. Together, they bridge the gap between academic research and commercial viability.
Aligned with the Global Challenge, South Carolina’s participation reflects measurable progress toward becoming a dynamic, globally competitive quantum destination with long-term economic benefits for the Palmetto State.
